QUALITY GOALS

Our quality is not a coincidence, it is the result of our principled work.

  • FIRST CONTROL:
  • First of all incoming raw materials, such as electrolytic zinc and zinc drosses are controlled by visually and analysis using portable XRF device to ensure the conveniences of the properties, and impurities according to the certificate and our acceptance limits. Inconvenient materials separates and goes to the red line area.

    • SECOND CONTROL:
    • We have two spectrometers. Second control of the samples has been done with Hitachi-Foundry Master Smart Spectro- photometer and with. Hitachi-UV spectrometer.

      • THIRD CONTROL:
      • Samples analysis from Electrolytic zinc or droses melted in own pots, were analyzed by spectrometer. According to the results, if we detect any inconveniences, samples were analyzed by the ICP-OES again. Evaporation and oxidation steps begins after absolutely ensuring the properties are consistent for the entire lot.

        • Zinc Oxide Control:
        • Every grade of ZnO has seperate line from the pots to the cyclon, filter, mixer and packaging silos. The samples taken from each big bags goes to the our laboratory for analyses. Main tests performed are retains on a 325 mesh screen size moisture, ignition loss, bulk density and full impurity tests performed (ICP-OES) and with another device as a daily analysis of each big-bag and then samples combined for each lots has been analyzing. Retains are kept for one year in our laboratory.

          Production Processes

We have been producing zinc oxide with French Process using last technologies in our new plant . Especially for rubber and tire industries the surface area and crystal structures are very important such as other properties.

Only French Process ZnO can use in tire and rubber industry. SEM (scanning electron microscope) tests show that American Process ZnO has needle form. Frenc Process ZnO hasn't needle form structure. French Process ZnO has also lover dirtyness than American Process ZnO. Because American Process uses coke coal as a energy source.

          • INDIRECT (FRENCH) PROCESS:
Metallic zinc is melted in a graphite crucibles using a natural gas as a source and vaporized at about 910 °C. White Powder (Zinc Oxide) is formed by the instantaneous reaction of zinc vapor with oxygen in the air. The zinc oxide powder are carried to the filter units with the air. The surface area of French Procces zinc oxide change from 3 m²/gr. to 10m²/gr. according to the customer demands.

          • DIRECT (AMERICAN) PROCESS:
Metallic zinc is melted and evoperated in a rottary furnace using coke coal. White Powder (Zinc Oxide) is formed by the instantaneous reaction of zinc vapor with oxygen in the air. The zinc oxide powder are carried to the filter units with the air. The surface area of American Procces zinc oxide change from 2 m²/gr. to 4m²/gr. according to the customer demands.
